Herb Week: Thyme Lemonade

C – This thyme lemonade saved Jim’s life … kind of.

Jim was working up quite a sweat assembling furniture. I could see his energy level and patience was going down fast. That illustrated instruction manual was taking a lot longer to read than he expected.

I could see it was time to get him food. But, he wouldn’t stop.

The best alternative was the thyme lemonade leftover from our shoot.

Thank goodness I brought it to him in time. It was just what he needed. A magic cooling and refreshing drink that gave him energy. I couldn’t believe the change that happened in a few seconds.

What was in this lemonade? Nothing special. But, Jim’s blood sugar level was going down and needed a quick pick me up. The furniture was finished. Jim was really happy.

This lemonade was delicious, cooling and the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Not too sweet to get a sugar crash. The thyme flavor was nice and light.

I am so glad I had this great lemonade in the refrigerator. It really was a life saver for Jim.
